Managed web security company ScanSafe is now offering a fully-managed screening service to protect networks against spyware.

The Spyware Screening service works alongside ScanSafe Web Virus Scanning, and delivers protection from threats that rely on stealth to monitor and benefit from user activity such as malicious spyware, nuisance adware, phishing attacks and cookies, according to the company.

Managers can use ScanSafe's ScanCentre online management interface network to set policy, customise the browser "request blocked" page and administrator alerts, and review statistics of blocked content and Internet usage.
